Wellesley Animal Hospital

I've had my fair share of questionable visits to other clinics in the area where I thought I was being taken advantage of for the purpose of up-selling. But I can confidently say I've had the most pleasant of visits over the past year at Wellesley Animal Hospital. Most recently, Dr. Pilar assisted in helping clear up my dog's skin issues. After each assessment I've engaged in conversations with open communication and complete transparency. While of course I try to do my due diligence in researching and understanding any treatments and prescriptions being suggested - I am also grateful that I've never felt pressured into purchasing anything that wasn't immediately necessary. Although the Wellesley Animal Hospital has increasingly gotten busier overtime, I feel that it's a true testament to how many pet owners choose to come here because they trust that their pets are in good hands.

Wellesley Hospital staff were very professional, welcoming & provided excellent customer service. Prior to providing any additional treatment to my 7 year old Golden Retriever, I received a call from the Vet who kindly went over everything, informed me on additional pricing (felt no pressure to purchase) of vaccination & broke down the bill so there were so surprises. 5/5 - Would recommend!

I can’t say enough about how much I truly appreciate the level of care my cat, and our family received from Dr. Ma. She worked so hard for him, and when the time came to make the very difficult decision to euthanize, she guided us with such compassion, respect and genuine warmth. We had weeks of stress and tears leading up to losing Florian, and now are left with sweet memories of a beautiful life, well-lived, and the comfort of knowing that he was treated as if he were a family member by his doctor and her team.

This place is amazing! They saw my cat quickly and treated her with care. They explained clearly all the tests and procedures they were doing, and explained to me exactly how to give my cat her medication. I could tell that my cat was treated compassionately and she was not afraid at all! They also had really great COVID-19 protocols in place which made it easy to book and drop off my cat for her appointment. I will absolutely be returning!

I would like to recommend WAH to every pet owner in DT. I have searched for several days to find a regular vet for my cat Sushi. I finally picked WAH since it has very convenient location, friendly staff and reasonable price. My first visit here was very pleasant. Dr. Mellisa explained every detail and answered all my questions. WAH may be not the cheapest vet in Toronto, but it is definitely a great vet that offers good service with very reasonable price.
