Will you recommend Mike's Independent City Market Toronto a Supermarket in Toronto ?
Catering to the neighbourhood condo crowd, this small, overpriced, understaffed location is not one that I intend to visit again. I stopped in quickly, after a meeting, and picked up a $16 container of their sushi for a quick dinner. It was absolutely terrible! (Not food poisoning terrible, just tasteless trash covered in gloopy sauces, in a feeble attempt to add flavour or mask inferior ingredients.) It provided a disappointing end to, what had been, a magnificent day. I won't make that mistake again. On a positive note, the cashier who served me was very kind. If not for her, this would have been a 2-star review. 🤨

Limited selection and what they do have is overpriced. Difficult to find staff when you need assistance.

This is a good place for grocery shopping but compare to other City Markets it’s a little limited! Other branches have more stuff! I recommend this place for shopping many essential things.
